The normal use of CNC machine tools should meet the following conditions: the power supply voltage fluctuation at the location of the machine tool is small, the ambient temperature is lower than 30 degrees, and the relative temperature is less than 80%.

Environmental requirements

The location of the machine tool should be far away from the vibration source, should avoid the influence of direct sunlight and heat radiation, and avoid the influence of moisture and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti-vibration ditch shall be set around the machine tool. Otherwise, it will directly affect the machining accuracy and stability of the machine tool, and will cause poor contact of electronic components, malfunction, and affect the reliability of the machine tool.

Power Requirements

General CNC lathes installed in the machining workshop, not only the environmental temperature changes, the use of poor conditions, and a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, resulting in large fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the installation of CNC lathe position, the need for power supply voltage has strict control. The power supply voltage fluctuation should be within the allowable range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the numerical control system.

Temperature conditions

The ambient temperature of the CNC lathe is lower than 30 degrees, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, there is an exhaust fan or air cooler inside the numerical control electric control box to keep the working temperature of the electronic components, especially the intermediate processor, constant or the temperature difference changes very little. Excessive temperature and humidity will reduce the life of the control system components and cause more failures. The increase of temperature and humidity, dust will produce adhesion in the integrated circuit board, and lead to short circuit.

Standardize the use of machine tools

When using the machine tool, the user is not allowed to change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system at will. The setting of these parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of each component of the machine tool. Only the value of the gap compensation parameter can be adjusted according to the actual situation.

Users are not free to replace machine accessories, such as the use of hydraulic chuck beyond the specification. When setting up accessories, the manufacturer shall fully consider the matching of various link parameters. Blind replacement causes mismatch of parameters of various links, and even causes accidents that cannot be estimated.

The pressure of hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tool rest, hydraulic tailstock and hydraulic oil cylinder shall be within the allowable stress range and shall not be increased arbitrarily.
